Attorney Mara founded her law practice in Brownsville, eager to contribute to the city where she was raised. Today her practice has expanded into greater South Texas, including San Antonio and surrounding areas. She handles matters in real estate law, probate and estate law, and guardianships. She also litigates a variety of other matters, in both civil and criminal law.  

          Attorney Mara is admitted to practice in Texas and the United States District and Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of Texas. She is a proud member of the Texas Bar College, a professional society of legal scholars. She is fluent in Spanish and is learning Italian and American Sign Language. ​
